Concert Irish Blend in Het Witte Kasteel
Was it a coincidence that Eric Hoop and Albert met in the Jan van Besouw in Goirle and decided to make music together? Eric played soul music for years in bands such as Eric Green and the Onions, but his real love was Celtic music and after a few rehearsals it turned out to click very well. Irish, Scottish, Breton music turned out to be a common passion and so a repertoire was built. Eric sings and plays guitar, while Albert complements the music with bouzouki, banjo, mandolin, ukulele harmonicas. Together they also sing.

Two experienced musicians take you through Ireland and Scotland based on songs. Traditional Celtic music is connected in a special way so that we also end up in Brittany for a while. Eric tells about the backgrounds of the songs, Albert adds content and his experiences during performances with folk band Ogham along the west coast of Scotland are incorporated.
You can sing along!
The concert takes place on the second floor and is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
