Discover the beauty of insects at this special exhibition by insect enthusiast and preparator Stefan Robberse.
Admire an impressive collection of framed butterflies, beetles, praying mantises, dragonflies, cicadas and other extraordinary animals from all corners of the world.
From bright blue butterflies that create their color with light, to golden beetles that look like they are made of metal. See giant atlas moths with a wingspan of more than twenty centimeters, mysterious butterflies with striking patterns on their wings, and translucent glass-winged butterflies that seem to merge into their surroundings.
With different insects, you'll discover fun facts and surprising stories. Why do butterflies have bright colors and unusual patterns? Why does a stingray moth have such a long tongue? And why does a cicada sometimes live underground for years before emerging?
The exhibition is mainly about wonder: dwelling on the enormous variety, colors and shapes that nature has produced.
The Wonderful World of Insects will be on display from June 3 to October 4, 2026.
Adults € 6,00
