Ammerzoden, Kasteel Ammersoyen Highlights tour of Ammersoyen Castle on Tuesday

Guided tour that takes you through the medieval highlights of Ammersoyen Castle in one hour. This weekly tour on Tuesdays is included in the normal entrance fee. Afterwards, you can explore the rest of the castle on your own.

Discover the unknown Middle Ages
During this tour you will learn more about the history and (archaeological) collection of this impressive moated castle and take a dive into the Middle Ages.
The guide will lead you along the medieval highlights of Ammersoyen, such as the imposing Great Hall and the 'dungeon'.
The highlight is certainly the brewing cellar with the medieval brewing oven where you will learn how beer was brewed in the Middle Ages.

Afterwards, explore on your own and follow the four wandering tours that lead you to every corner of the castle via exciting wall stairs.

- Every Tuesday from 11.30 - 12.30 in April to October, except on 22 and 29 April, 14 and 21 October
