Geertruidenberg, TIP Geertruidenberg Opening of monuments on Open Monument Day

During Open Monumentendag, thousands of monuments in the Netherlands are opened to the general public in order to increase public interest in monuments and support for the care of monuments. Not only do the thousands of monuments open their doors for free, countless activities are organized: exhibitions, guided tours, bicycle routes, walks, music performances but also many activities for young people.

This year's theme is "Heritage & Architecture, building(d) to stay.

In the municipality of Geertruidenberg, the following monuments will be open to the public:

• Geertruidskerk, Elfhuizen 3, Geertruidenberg: Saturday, September 13, from 1:30-4:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 14, from 12:30-17:00 p.m.
• Former Geertruidenberg Town Hall, Markt 36, Geertruidenberg: Sunday, September 14, 11:00-15:00. Guided tour included in city walk
• The Old Guard: W. Mulderplein 1, Geertruidenberg: Sunday, September 14, 11.00-17.00 hrs.
• Lambertuskerk, Kerklaan 4, Raamsdonk: Sunday, September 14, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
• Museum De Roos gives 50% discount on admission: Saturday, September 13 10.30-16.30 and Sunday, September 14 11.00-17.00. Always free entrance with Museumkaart
