Geertruidenberg, Fortification walk and Bergsche Battery demonstration

The guide will first take you to the field of arms at the fortifications. There the Bergsche Battery with pioneers, musketeers and flag guard will give a demonstration. This includes the firing of cannons. This gives a picture of the life of this defense army in the 16th century, at the time of the siege of Geertruidenberg under the illustrious leadership of Prince Maurice.

After this demonstration the guide will take you along the fortifications and monuments that throughout history have been decisive for the defense and protection of the fortified town of Geertruidenberg.
