A warm welcome to PartyVlaai
In the heart of Waalwijk, on the very first street with the Fairtrade label, lies PartyVlaai. What began as a flan baker in 2019 has now grown into a full-fledged artisan pastry bakery known in Waalwijk and the entire Langstraat.
In early 2024, PartyVlaai opened a chocolate workshop in the adjacent building. Here the most delicious chocolates, chocolate letters and personalized chocolate gifts are made, all from sustainable Fairtrade Callebaut chocolate.
In their own pastry shop bakers Henk and Abdel make the most delicious flans, (photo) cakes, red velvet cakes, award-winning progres pastries, apple turnovers, golden award-winning half-soup cakes and, of course, sausage rolls all day long. Special requests are also catered for: vegan, halal and gluten-free varieties are available. Because everything is baked fresh every day, the pastries stay fresh and tasty for a long time. Half sole cake
As a tribute to the shoe industry in De Langstraat, PartyVlaai developed the Halve-zoolkoek. Buttered dough with almond paste and cinnamon, in the shape of a shoe sole. A delicious treat named after the Halvezolenlijntje the railroad line between Lage Zwaluwe and 's-Hertogenbosch along the many shoe factories).
Banketbakkerij PartyVlaai from Waalwijk has reinstated the 'half sole': a filled buttercream cake in the shape of a shoe sole. The cake is for sale individually, but also in a festive gift package in the shape of a shoe box. The "half sole" buttercream cake aims to put this region even better on the map. The cake stands for connection between people, for fraternization and love. Because we can never get enough of that either.
With this half-solen cake you just taste the character of the region!

PartyVlaai is located in the Grotestraat-West, this street proudly carries the title 'Fairtrade street' since 2020, the second in the Netherlands. Together they are committed to fair trade with a special focus on producers from developing countries.
In addition, PartyVlaai delivers 100% electric. Quite honest!
