3. Floral splendor of Vlijmens Ven
This nature reserve is part of a larger marshy area that also includes De Moerputten and the Bossche Broek. The area is used as a spillway to prevent flooding. When it is not full of water you will find the most beautiful flowers, bees and butterflies in these vast grasslands. Discover this area with a hiking trail. Halfway, you'll pass Restaurant Emmamolen where you can enjoy a drink and snack on the terrace before continuing on. Or enjoy refreshing ice cream in Vlijmen.
