Time Bandits
Time Bandits is a Dutch band led by frontman Alides Hidding. With Hidding's head voice as trademark, the band achieved international success in the early 1980s with a musical mix of disco, funk, soul and rock. The lineup of Time Bandits went through strong changes over the years, with Hidding as the only constant factor.

Success is not limited to the country's borders. In France, 450,000 copies of I'm specialized in you were sold. It also reached the top 10 in Portugal. I'm only shooting love' reached second place in the Billboard Hot Dance/Disco chart in the United States.

Several European tours followed. The band's colorful and extravagant outfits catch the eye. 'Those times brought that with them. Big haircuts, eye shadow. You could go on stage in jeans, but then it wouldn't be right," Hidding says in the book, "Listen to the man with the golden voice.

In 2012, Time Bandits is back with a new CD, "Out of the blue," which will be presented at Paradiso. In addition to Hidding and Danielson, the lineup includes drummer Olaf Noordanus and bassist Gerold Olieberg. The band also returned to performing regularly in the Netherlands and Belgium.

After several lineup changes, Time Bandits in 2022 consists of Hidding, Noordanus, Marco van der Velden (bass), Ugene Latumeten (keys) and Pascal Harting (guitar). Latumeten makes way for Leon Groeneveld just one year later.
