Personal stories, a good dose of self-mockery and, of course, lots of music

Jim Bakkum was only 15 when he became world-famous in the Netherlands, after being narrowly beaten by Jamai in the far most exciting final of "Idols" in 2003. Twenty years later, you may wonder how he underwent the craziness at such a young age and what it was like to grow up in the spotlight?

So he does in his new musical theater show "Old Learned, Young Done," in which he reflects on all the high-profile events and milestones of recent years. How was and is life in the entertainment world, where everything revolves around age, ostentation, image and credibility? Jim lets his audience know with personal stories and memories, a good dose of self-mockery and of course a lot of music, accompanied by his fantastic band.
