Waalwijk is a real shoe town. There used to be hundreds of factories here making shoes and working with leather. There is even a museum about it in Waalwijk. In the summer of 2022, this museum, Schoenenkwartier, will have a place in the center. It is a knowledge center, manufacturing lab and museum all in one. Super fun to take a look.
