Hoeve de Mertel
Biezenmortel is a friendly village in the green heart of hospitable Brabant. Here stands Hoeve de Mertel, the authentic long-gabled farmhouse of the Van Rijswijk family. Surrounded by beautiful nature and the serene peace of the countryside. The only thing you hear are the sheep grazing contentedly in the meadow. In the special store at Hoeve de Mertel all kinds of regional and sheep products are available. From delicious lamb, wool products and sheepskins to numerous natural care products based on natural wool fat (adeps lanae). Hoeve de Mertel also has a farm campsite and an inn (accessible only when booking an overnight stay). This wonderful video was made for the Landscape Triennial 2021.
