At the Bodemven you will find a beautiful bird watching point. At this location birds have been counted for a number of years in a row, sometimes with special sightings such as the goldeneye and little grebe, but also non-water birds such as fire-breasted goldeneyes, sparrowhawk and tree falcon. Thus, Huis ter Heide forms a suitable habitat not only for unusual amphibians and butterflies, but also for many bird species.
