Accessibility for persons with disabilities
Fortress City Heusden
Heusden Vesting is a medieval, small town where you will still find many cobblestone streets. Both the streets and the buildings were unfortunately not built with accessibility in mind. Several business owners have taken measures and have, for example, threshold plates and a disabled toilet available. The public toilet at the little bridge at the city harbor and the toilet in TIP Heusden (Pelsestraat 17) are also suitable for the disabled.
Center Waalwijk
Shopping center De Els is easily accessible for disabled visitors, given the barrier-free entrance doors. Many other shopping and catering premises in the center are also accessible. There are also free wheelchairs available for loan at the bicycle shed.
We always recommend that you contact the venues in the region you want to visit yourself, so you can make a good estimation of whether you can go there (with your party).

- With the parking app: you link it to your license plate and payment card and then turn on the parking action at the right location. Just before you drive away you stop the parking action again.
