National Park De Loonse en Drunense Duinen is also called the Brabant Sahara. The area is over 7,000 soccer fields large.
You will find huge sandy plains, water features, purple heaths, forests and the unique Plantloon estate.
There is something for everyone. Natuurpoort manege Van Loon in Loon op Zand and Herberg De Drie Linden in Giersbergen are a great starting point to discover nature.

Landgoed Huis ter Heide, located between Loon op Zand and De Moer, is a hidden gem. You can go for lovely walks in this wetland bird paradise while admiring the noisy frogs and colorful dragonflies. There are beautiful hiking trails in the area, ranging from 4.5 to 8 kilometers.
