The Moerputten is one of the few remaining low moor swamps in southern Netherlands. The most striking feature of this area is the railroad bridge that cuts through the swamp. Now trains no longer run there, but you can take a beautiful walk: via the restored 600-meter-long swamp (railroad) bridge and the wooden swamp decking. Accessible from the Venkant bridge on the Heidijk in Vlijmen. You can also visit the area from the side of Den Bosch.
