Moerputtenbrug, Vlijmen

One of the few remaining peat bogs

Hiking trail The Moerputten

The Moerputten is one of the few remaining low moor swamps in the southern Netherlands. The most striking feature of this area is the railroad bridge that cuts through the swamp. Now trains no longer run there, but you can walk beautifully. Via the restored 600-meter-long bog (railroad) bridge and the wooden bog bridges.
