In the monastery farm from 1440, the oldest monument of Waalwijk, now lives Este. A restaurant without haste, without frills. Here it's all about attention to taste, to atmosphere, to people.

Fun fact: on this spot in 1471, the properties were transferred to the nuns of Convent Nazareth. The property remained part of the village for centuries. As a farm, under the name 'Bouwhuis', and later also called 'Brouwhuijs'.
