In the flat landscape near Raamsdonk, the artwork FOOTPRINT forms a striking landmark on the Halve Zolenpad. Two pairs of five-meter-high shoe soles, designed by artist Harald Vlugt, tower above the path to the left and right and together form a symbolic gateway for cyclists and hikers. The soles refer to the rich history of the shoe and leather industry in the Langstraat region. This iconic work of art is visible from all directions. FOOTPRINT connects culture, heritage and nature in a surprising way.
