The Klavier proverbial route

This square is named after the famous illustrator Anton Pieck. You may know his name and his designs: he drew the fairytale forest for the Efteling.

Anton Pieck must have drawn some stars in his designs as well, but "stars" in the expression drawing the stars of heaven are a metaphor (imagery) for the "highest attainable. So what you are actually saying when someone draws the stars from the sky is that they can draw fantastically!
