A winding alley
To the left of the house with the crown is a narrow alley. Such alleys are typical of Heusden; they are not straight, but winding. Thus the soldiers who protected the town could easily escape into it! If the enemy fired on them, they could not be seen or hit after the winding, just like at the Wijkse Poort (stop 9)!
Continue route
Pretend you are a soldier and flee down the narrow alley! At the end, turn left. You will then see Engstraat on your right.
