Pluktuin Ut Ouw Goed is located in De Moer and is a combination of a picking garden and a food forest, run by a family that pays a lot of attention to biodiversity and nature. Here, from June to September, you can pick different kinds of flowers and fruits, including raspberries, blackberries, grapes and apples. Visitors are allowed to go into the garden themselves with a basket and scissors to collect produce.

The atmosphere in Pluktuin Ut Ouw Goed is friendly and therefore suitable for families, nature lovers and people who like to be outdoors. The garden is child-friendly and has an educational character, allowing children to learn about plants and fruit in a fun way. The picking garden is usually open on set days during the week and sometimes organizes additional activities. Visitors are advised to check the website in advance for details.

Sprankenhof

Pluktuin Sprankenhof is located in the village of Udenhout, on the edge of the Loonse and Drunense Dunes, in the most ecological and sustainable way possible. In the picking garden you can walk around among fruits and vegetables. Besides the picking garden, there is also a store where they sell organic products, for example honey from their own bees.

The harvest times vary each year, this is due to the dependence on the weather. The current harvest times are on the Facebook and Instagram page. In Sprankenhof 's picking garden, you may harvest your own types of fruits and vegetables, depending on the season. Think vegetables like spring onion, fennel and kale in the colder months. In the summer months it's fruits like raspberries and blackberries. Afterwards, the produce is weighed and paid for in the store.

The atmosphere at Sprankenhof is focused on organic experience and learning. You can also participate in cooking workshops, tastings or enjoy regional products from the store.

Flower Picking Garden De Langendam

This flower picking garden located in Waspik, exists since 2005. The flowers are grown here themselves in the nursery, so there are different types of flowers in the picking garden. Because they work without pesticides and remove the weeds by hand, everything grows naturally. This ensures not only strong and healthy flowers, but also a picking garden where you can walk around with peace of mind, even with children. The website has tips and rules for bringing children.

The picking garden usually opens at the end of June, they share the exact date each year through their website and social media channels. During opening hours you can just walk in, no reservations are necessary. Upon arrival, you'll be loaned a bucket with a layer of water to keep the flowers fresh while you're at it. Preferably bring your own pliers or knife, otherwise they are available to borrow. In advance, staff or volunteers will share a brief instruction. Then walk through a beech hedge and the woods to the picking garden. Please note that picking is not allowed behind a wire or in a private garden.

Do you only want to take hobby photos in the picking garden? Then they ask a contribution of €5. If you pick a bucket of flowers or take something on the terrace, then you don't have to pay this contribution for taking hobby photos. Pluktuin Vrolijk is an attractive flower picking garden in Almkerk, where you can pick field bouquets and seasonal flowers in an orchard.
