Anyone walking through the center of Waalwijk at night will undoubtedly notice it. Several historic buildings are in the spotlight, highlighted in a special blue. It refers to the history of the shoe and leather industry in Waalwijk and De Langstraat. In fact, the blue is the color an animal skin takes on after it has been in a chrome bath for a while. The walking route along the buildings is a mix of light, stories and experiences.
