Bike & FOOD route East
Get on your bike and pedal the FOOD route through the beautiful area of the eastern Langstraat. The route through Heusden, Nieuwkuijk, Drunen and Waalwijk is completely dedicated to sustainable food. You will be guided past local entrepreneurs, who in their own way contribute to a healthy world. At the locations you will find a QR code for a video, giving you a look behind the door. Among other things, this teaches you how to combat food waste. There is also an option to extend the bike ride with a free-range package and various workshops. For more information look here. Description
- By clicking on the pins on the map you will read more information about the rest stops and points of interest along the route
- You can start and end the route at any point, but a nice start and end point is Brouwerij Sint Crispijn in Waalwijk (near the little pin with the yellow triangle). You can park your car nearby and use the catering facility here
- The route is not plotted based on the junction network. You cycle the route using this online route page with your mobile device. You can also download the gpx file and travel the route using your smartphone or navigation system. In the order of this description we assume that you cycle the route clockwise.
- At eight locations along the route you scan in QR codes. This way you can take a look behind the door at special locations
