Bike & Food route east

Hop on your bike and discover the eastern Langstraat during the Bike & Food route through Heusden, Nieuwkuijk, Drunen and Waalwijk. During this Bike & Food route the focus is on 'sustainable food'. Along the way you will pass local entrepreneurs who are all working towards a better and healthier world. At these locations you can stop and watch the video that gives you a peek into the entrepreneur's kitchen.

You can start and end the route at any point, but a nice start and end point is Brouwerij Sint Crispijn in Waalwijk (near the yellow pin). You can park your car nearby and use the catering facility here.

The route is not plotted on the basis of the junction network. You cycle the route using the route description in the leaflet (available at the TIPs in the region) or this online route page. You can also download the gpx file and travel the route using your smartphone or navigation system. In the order of this description, we assume that you cycle the route clockwise.

At locations along the route you can watch a movie. This gives you a look behind the door at the special locations. The links to these films can be found on this page and in the booklet, so make sure before you start the route that your smartphone has a data bundle and a full battery.
