Rabobank De Langstraat

This location is part of the Wet Blue route.

The history of the Rabobank in Waalwijk begins with the establishment in 1904 of a Boerenleenbank in the then independent municipality of Baardwijk.

When more and more non-farmers started using the bank after World War II, it was decided to open a branch on the Markt in Waalwijk in 1959. A year later, this branch becomes the main branch.

In 1972, the Raiffeisen and the Boerenleenbank merged and were henceforth called Rabobank. In the years that followed, more and more local Rabobanks in the region came under the same management. This process culminated in the establishment of Rabobank De Langstraat in 2008.

Mainly due to the digital developments of the last decades, many regional offices eventually become redundant and a new headquarters was built at Winterdijk in Waalwijk, which was inaugurated in 2017.
