Right on the edge of National Park De Loonse en Drunense Duinen is the Rustende Jager. An ideal point to pick up information about the region and figure out which biking or hiking routes you're going to take during your vacation or weekend getaway. You will find free routes, flyers and leaflets in the current flyer display of this local information point.

De Rustende Jager has been the stopping place for anyone visiting the neighboring Loonse and Drunense Dunes for more than 100 years. Whether on foot, horseback, mountain bike or 'regular' bike, few can resist the temptation of the hospitable, friendly atmosphere. Known for decades for the Brabantse Broeder. This delicious sweet bread is a specialty of the house, and perfect to combine with a cappuccino on the cozy terrace. Overlooking the meadows, you can enjoy relaxation at the edge of the woods before, during or after a ride or walk.

Flexible bike rental company
Besides a delicious snack and drink, De Rustende Jager is best known as a bike rental company. With more than 700 bikes, ranging from regular and electric bikes, to mountain bikes, tandems, electric tricycles and electric duo bikes. Because if this wheelchair-accessible establishment exudes one thing, it's that everyone is welcome here! The spacious terrace accommodates many guests, with both regular toilets inside and outside and a disabled toilet inside. There are also 6 showers to freshen up after mountain biking. By the way, due to the large run, reservations are only possible for large groups. But don't let that commotion put you off: "Staff is very friendly despite the crowds," the guestbook reads.

Perfect location
One of the most beautiful places in Brabant is also a great place for meetings: inspiration guaranteed. De Rustende Jager also provides plenty of bicycles on location for a wonderful ride with friends, colleagues or family. Then head towards De Rustende Jager for a delicious lunch or hearty drinks, before cycling on to your final destination. Of course you can also start here, after which the bikes can be picked up. How convenient!
In addition, the wooded surroundings are an oasis of tranquility. Couple that with food from days gone by - such as grandmother's meatball, generous sandwiches and various soups - and you'll understand why people have been finding their way here for over a century...
