The bike route Linie 1629 follows the remnants of the constructed fortifications and takes you along the most important places of the Siege of 's-Hertogenbosch. Discover the important military works from the Eighty Years' War and enjoy the beautiful nature and views. During the route there are plenty of cozy catering points with terraces to relax and enjoy a snack and a drink. A beautiful varied route of 49 kilometers through 's-Hertogenbosch, Heusden, Sint-Michielsgestel and Vught.

Special signs with "Linie 1629" are posted along the entire route. The route can be started at any point and runs in a closed circle around 's-Hertogenbosch. The bike route of Linie 1629 has two variants: the main route goes via Maurick Castle in Vught. You can also choose to cycle through the Bossche Broek nature reserve. Both variants can be followed via the route signs. Simply follow the bicycle junctions from number to number.
